Malaysian violinist Martin Looi has set a new milestone by officially joining the BAM Cases Artist roster, becoming the first Malaysian artist to collaborate with the French premium case manufacturer.

To celebrate the collaboration, Looi recently received his L’etoile Hightech Contoured Case in Cognac from JS Music, BAM’s official distributor in Malaysia. Handcrafted in France and designed for ultimate protection, the case combines elegance with durability, ensuring Looi’s violin is safeguarded during performances.

“It’s built like a tank, and it looks way too good to leave at home. I can’t wait to take it on the road,” says Looi.

The collaboration highlights Looi’s commitment to both artistry and professionalism. Known for fusing classical violin with modern performance elements, he views high-quality gear such as BAM’s cases as essential to his career.

This announcement comes amid Looi’s rising profile, with performances including major national galas, award shows, and corporate events, as well as collaborations with contemporary Malaysian artists.
