Public Bank has partnered with electric vehicle brand iCAUR to encourage wider EV adoption in Malaysia, offering financing benefits for selected green vehicles under its latest campaign.

The collaboration forms part of Public Bank’s “Go Green with Green Vehicle Financing – Paint the Town Green” campaign, which aims to make the transition to electric mobility more accessible to Malaysian buyers.
It comes as Malaysia’s electrified vehicle market continues to expand. EV sales more than doubled during the first half of 2026, increasing 106% year-on-year from 12,733 to 26,192 units. The Malaysian Automotive Association has also raised its forecast for xEV sales, covering hybrids, plug-in hybrids and battery EVs, to 120,000 units, or around 15% of total industry volume.
Financing iCAUR’s Electric SUVs
As part of the partnership, eligible customers purchasing selected green vehicles can access financing benefits through Public Bank, although specific interest rates, repayment terms and incentives were not detailed in the announcement.

The collaboration puts the spotlight on iCAUR’s current electric SUV range, including the iCAUR 03 and V23. Part of Chery Group, iCAUR differentiates its EVs with boxy, retro-inspired styling and a more adventure-oriented approach under its “Born to Play” philosophy.
Public Bank says the initiative forms part of its wider push towards sustainable financing, while giving customers more options as Malaysia’s EV market grows.
The partnership was officially marked with a ceremony between representatives from Public Bank and iCAUR, followed by the flag-off of an iCAUR convoy under the Paint the Town Green campaign.
Further details on eligible models and the financing benefits available through the campaign are expected to be provided by Public Bank.
