KL’s Concert Calendar Is Stacked: The Big Shows to Catch Before 2026 Ends

by ikalmayang

Kuala Lumpur’s live music scene is having a year. Between stadium tours and arena shows, the last quarter of 2026 has enough on the calendar to keep concert-goers busy through December. The city’s Headline Season 2026, a joint effort between the government and industry players including Live Nation Malaysia, aims to draw more than 500,000 music fans with over 25 global artists across multiple venues. Here is what to put in your diary.

The stadium giants

Most of the year’s biggest nights are at Bukit Jalil. TM Stadium Nasional, formerly the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, seats 85,500 and is the largest stadium in Southeast Asia. It was renamed in March 2026.

The Weeknd, 4 and 5 November. He brings the After Hours Til Dawn tour to KL for two nights, and the shows are reported sold out. The tour is scheduled to wrap up at this stadium on 5 November, so KL gets the closing night of one of the highest-grossing tours ever. Creepy Nuts and Yousuke Yukimatsu are billed as special guests.

My Chemical Romance, 19 and 20 November. The emo-rock band play two nights at 8:30pm at National Stadium Bukit Jalil, following their reunion. Both nights are reported sold out, and the dates were rescheduled from April and May.

BTS, 12 and 13 December. The K-pop group’s World Tour ‘ARIRANG’ is due in KL for two nights, and tickets were expected to go fast. This is the year-end closer for the stadium.

Siti Nurhaliza, 17 October. Her Konsert Gema Bumantara is set for 8:30pm at Bukit Jalil National Stadium. It is a home-grown headliner among the international names.

Arena and mid-size nights

  • Avenged Sevenfold, 26 September. The Asia Tour 2026 opens at Unifi Arena, the band’s first Malaysian show in 11 years. Expect fan favourites like “So Far Away,” “Hail to the King,” “Dear God” and “Nightmare.”
  • SPIDERAYA (30th Anniversary), 26 September. The show is at the National Hockey Stadium, Bukit Jalil, from 8:30pm.
  • MAMAMOO, 10 October. The K-pop group plays Unifi Arena.
  • The Rose, 25 October. They perform at Mega Star Arena.
  • Jason Mraz, 31 October. He plays the National Hockey Stadium.

One to watch

Post Malone was listed for 27 September at TM National Stadium, but Business Today reported on 28 August that the concert had been postponed. No new date has been confirmed, so keep an eye on Live Nation Malaysia’s channels. There are also listings for other Unifi Arena concerts on 1 and 17 November, and for the F-Forever world tour stop, but the details weren’t confirmed at time of writing.

Before you buy

Schedules can change, as this year has already shown. Buy only from the official ticketing platform named on each event page, and check dates and venues again as the show approaches. With The Weeknd and My Chemical Romance already reported sold out, anyone still hoping for tickets may have to rely on official resale channels.
