JETOUR Malaysia has officially launched the T2 i-DM, bringing plug-in hybrid power to its rugged SUV with up to 1,200km of combined driving range.
Priced at RM162,800, the T2 i-DM combines a 1.5-litre TGDi dedicated hybrid engine with a three-speed hybrid transmission and dual-motor electric system. Together, the setup produces up to 265kW and 610Nm, while offering more than 100km of pure electric driving range.
Five Driving Modes and DC Fast Charging
JETOUR’s Intelligent Dual-Mode system automatically manages electric and hybrid power across five scenarios, including pure EV driving, Series Hybrid for urban traffic, Dual Power Boost for overtaking and climbing, Parallel Hybrid for highway cruising and regenerative braking.
Power comes from an 18.4kWh LFP battery, which supports DC fast charging at up to 57kW. JETOUR claims a 30% to 80% charge can be completed in 27 minutes or less.
A 6.6kW AC wallbox can take the battery from 30% to 100% in three hours or less, while a 2.2kW portable charger takes around six hours. There’s also 3.3kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality for powering compatible external devices.
The T2 i-DM retains the boxy, adventure-focused styling of the regular T2, with 20-inch Trailblazer alloy wheels, LED headlights, a rear-mounted spare tyre and an electrically assisted rear door.
Inside, there’s a 15.6-inch infotainment display, 12-speaker Sony sound system, 50W wireless charging, ventilated front seats, a driver’s memory seat and multicolour ambient lighting.
Safety equipment includes a Level 2 ADAS suite with Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Integrated Cruise Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and lane assistance. Six airbags, a panoramic view monitor and tyre pressure monitoring are also included.
Early-Bird Package for the First 2,000 Buyers
The first 2,000 registrations will receive an early-bird package worth up to RM3,000. Buyers can choose between a complimentary 7kW AC wallbox with installation or RM2,000 in ChargeSini charging credits, with a V2L adapter cable also included. Financing rates start from 1.68%, subject to terms and conditions.
The T2 i-DM comes with a seven-year/150,000km vehicle warranty, eight-year/160,000km high-voltage battery warranty and 10-year/1,000,000km engine warranty, alongside five complimentary service sessions.
JETOUR is also offering Special Perils Coverage to the first 2,000 registered owners or until 28 February 2027, whichever comes first, as part of its launch campaign.
