MINI Malaysia has introduced the MINI Cooper S Oxford Edition, a special-edition model celebrating 25 years since the first modern MINI rolled off the production line at Plant Oxford.
Limited to just six units nationwide, the Oxford Edition is priced from RM289,888 on the road without insurance, making it one of the more exclusive versions of the current MINI Cooper S available in Malaysia.
A British-Inspired Tribute to Oxford
The Oxford Edition leans heavily into MINI’s British heritage, with a distinctive Union Jack roof and bonnet graphic forming the centrepiece of its exterior design.
It also receives Oxford Edition hub caps with matching valve caps and a unique rear signature featuring Union Jack detailing. Inside, the theme continues with an Oxford Edition steering wheel badge, Union Jack-inspired entry sills and floor mats, as well as a special key cap.
Only three exterior colours are being offered: Chili Red, Indigo Sunset Blue and Blazing Blue, with just two units available in each colour.
The special edition commemorates the 25th anniversary of modern MINI production at Plant Oxford, where the first modern-generation MINI rolled off the line in 2001.
MINI is also introducing a matching Lifestyle Oxford Capsule from early October 2026. The collection includes a Traveller Bag, unisex T-shirts, a cap, Oxford stickers and a MINI Umbrella Walking Stick, with dark blue and Union Jack-inspired details complementing the special-edition car.
From RM289,888 in Malaysia
The MINI Cooper S Oxford Edition is priced at RM289,888, while opting for the MINI Repair & Service Inclusive Package brings the price to RM300,288, both on the road without insurance.
Through BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the Easy Drive Financing Plan starts from an estimated RM2,773 per month based on a 75% loan over five years. A Straight-Line Financing Plan is also available from approximately RM3,219 per month based on a 75% loan over seven years.
Like other new MINIs sold locally, the Oxford Edition comes with MINI Malaysia’s five-year Roadside Assistance programme, while additional service and warranty coverage is available through its ownership packages.
With only six cars allocated to Malaysia, the Oxford Edition is ultimately less about changing the Cooper S formula and more about celebrating where the modern MINI story began, complete with plenty of Union Jack details to make the occasion obvious.
