Hisense has unveiled its latest vision for the AI-powered home at IFA 2026, introducing new technology designed to make household appliances work together more intelligently.

Presented under its “Companion Living” concept, the system is centred around V AIOS, the next evolution of Hisense’s VIDAA operating system. It is built around four AI capabilities: Sense, Think, Communicate and Execute, allowing connected devices to understand their surroundings, interpret user needs and coordinate actions across the home.
AI That Connects the Entire Home
Building on V AIOS is the AI Companion Suite, which applies this intelligence across cooking, laundry, climate control and energy management.

In the kitchen, connected appliances can take into account available ingredients and food preferences before recommending meals and coordinating appliances such as the refrigerator and oven to help with preparation.
For laundry, AI can recognise different fabrics and adjust washing and drying accordingly. Hisense’s UR9 meanwhile acts as a gateway for the connected living space, managing airflow, comfort and energy use based on occupants and surrounding conditions.
Hisense is also working with Alexa+, with plans to integrate selected air conditioners with Amazon’s AI assistant through its Smart Home AI Toolkit. Once available, users will be able to describe what they want using natural language, with Alexa+ translating the request into the appropriate air-conditioning settings automatically.
Several Hisense products also picked up recognition at IFA 2026. The Multi Function II Series HVAC system received a Winner Award, while the X-zone Master was named an Honoree. The U8 Air Master Air Conditioner, W60 3D Kitchen-fit Series and 60cm Integrated Wine Cabinet were also recognised at the event.
Rather than treating AI as a feature confined to individual appliances, Hisense’s Companion Living concept is ultimately about creating a connected home where devices can share information and act together, reducing the amount of manual input required from users.
