Lenovo’s New IdeaPad Vibe Laptops Come in Seven Colours and Pack Built-In AI

by com-editor

Lenovo is bringing a little more personality to the AI PC space with its new IdeaPad Vibe series, a colourful lineup of laptops designed for students, families and everyday users.

Unveiled at Lenovo Innovation World 2026, the new consumer range is joined by refreshed IdeaCentre AIO i desktops and deeper integration with Lenovo Qira, the company’s personal AI platform.

IdeaPad Vibe Puts Colour Front and Centre

Available in 14-inch and 15-inch sizes, the IdeaPad Vibe stands out with seven colour options developed in consultation with the Pantone Color Institute: Dreamy Violet, Spicy Gold, Zen Green, Chill Blue, Radiant Coral, Moody Blue and Lowkey Grey.

Users will also be able to purchase interchangeable keycaps for an extra touch of customisation.

Underneath the colourful exterior, configurations will be available with Snapdragon X processors and Copilot+ PC capabilities, while AMD versions can be equipped with up to Ryzen AI 400 Series processors. Intel-powered models are planned for a later date.

The laptops start from 1.3kg for the 14-inch model, with both sizes measuring as thin as 14.9mm.

Select Snapdragon configurations offer up to 24GB of memory, while AMD models support up to 32GB of upgradeable RAM. Both offer dual SSD slots with storage expansion up to 1TB.

Display choices include OLED panels with up to 100% DCI-P3 coverage, alongside IPS options offering up to a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB coverage depending on configuration. OLED options are limited to the Lowkey Grey and Moody Blue colourways.

Lenovo Qira Brings AI Across Your Devices

Select IdeaPad Vibe configurations will also support Lenovo Qira, the company’s personal AI experience designed to work across compatible PCs, smartphones, tablets and wearables.

Rather than operating entirely as another standalone AI chatbot, Qira is designed to retain context across supported devices and connect with everyday services.

Through Workato-powered integrations, users can access information from supported email, calendar and collaboration services using natural-language requests, reducing the need to constantly jump between apps.

The IdeaCentre AIO i Gets a Colourful Makeover Too

Lenovo isn’t limiting the colour treatment to laptops.

The new IdeaCentre AIO i will be offered in 23.8-inch and 27-inch sizes, with colours including Dreamy Violet, Radiant Coral, Zen Green, Chill Blue, Luna Grey and Cloud Grey.

Its redesigned architecture removes the bulky computing section traditionally found behind an all-in-one display, resulting in a slimmer appearance. Both sizes feature FHD displays with up to a 120Hz refresh rate and 350 nits of brightness, while touchscreens are optional.

Inside, the IdeaCentre AIO i runs on up to Intel Core 7 Series 3 processors, with the 27-inch version supporting up to 32GB of LPDDR5x memory.

Lenovo has also introduced its AI Turbo Engine, which handles performance optimisation, multimedia features and a new Adaptive Lighting system. The latter can provide different lighting effects during startup, regular use or while listening to music, with additional customisation expected through a future software update.

The stand offers 30mm of height adjustment and a tilt range from -5 to 15 degrees, while other available features include an optional 5MP IR camera, physical privacy shutter, Harman audio, optional wireless charging and HDMI input and output.

For now, Lenovo hasn’t confirmed Malaysian pricing or availability for either the IdeaPad Vibe series or the new IdeaCentre AIO i.

With the new lineup, Lenovo appears to be taking a slightly different approach to the AI PC race. Instead of focusing purely on processing power and AI features, it’s betting that buyers might also want their next laptop or desktop to actually look like their own.
