Lenovo is expanding its business hardware lineup with a sizeable collection of AI-powered desktops, laptops, monitors and security tools unveiled at Lenovo Innovation World during IFA 2026.
The new portfolio ranges from the compact but powerful ThinkCentre X Ultra to an ultra-light ThinkBook weighing under 1kg. Lenovo also showed off two experimental laptop concepts, including one with a display that physically expands from 14 to 17 inches.
ThinkCentre X Ultra Packs Serious AI Power Into 1.6 Litres
Leading the desktop announcements is the ThinkCentre X Ultra, a compact 1.6-litre PC designed for demanding local AI workloads.

It can be configured with up to an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor, 128GB of unified memory and a 55 TOPS NPU, with integrated Radeon 8065S graphics able to access up to 96GB of the unified memory.
More interestingly, up to four ThinkCentre X Ultra systems can be connected together, expanding the available compute and memory for larger AI models, longer context windows and multi-agent workloads.
For more conventional office environments, Lenovo also introduced the ThinkCentre M75s Gen 6 and tiny M75q Gen 6. Both offer up to 50 TOPS of local AI acceleration, while the M75q can support up to four displays despite being small enough to mount behind a monitor.
The New ThinkBook 14 Gen 9 Gets Snapdragon Power
Lenovo’s laptop lineup is growing with the ThinkBook 14 Gen 9, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 Plus.

The 14-inch Copilot+ PC delivers up to 80 TOPS of AI performance and starts at 1.3kg, with Lenovo claiming up to 26 hours of local video playback.
It also supports Lenovo Qira, including features such as Catch Me Up for catching up on missed conversations and Pay Attention for helping users stay focused during meetings.
Meanwhile, the ThinkBook 14x Gen 2 takes a more portability-focused approach. At just 12.9mm thick and starting from 990g, it pairs Intel Core 7 Series 3 processors with either a 2.8K 120Hz OLED display or WUXGA LCD option.

It’s also available in considerably more playful colours than your typical business laptop, including Celestial White, Mystic Violet and Veil Blue alongside Luna Grey.
Lenovo’s Laptop of the Future Could Be Under 10mm Thick
Some of Lenovo’s more interesting IFA announcements aren’t actually products you can buy yet.
Project AeroBlade is an experimental 14-inch laptop measuring under 10mm thick and weighing less than 830g. Instead of conventional fans, it uses a solid-state Active Flow cooling system developed with Frore Systems and powered by AirJet technology.

Lenovo says the approach could allow future ultra-thin laptops to maintain sustained AI performance without the noise, dust intake and mechanical complexity associated with traditional fan cooling.
Then there’s Project Swan, which tackles limited laptop screen space in a very different way.

It starts as a regular 14-inch notebook, but its display can roll out into a 17-inch 16:9 screen when more workspace is needed. The concept weighs 1.6kg and measures 17.9mm thick, essentially offering portable dual-screen-like working space without carrying a second monitor.
ThinkVision Gets Smarter Too
Lenovo also introduced several new ThinkVision monitors aimed at modern office setups.
The ThinkVision P34WD-4v is a 34-inch WQHD ultrawide that Lenovo calls the world’s first Microsoft-certified Thunderbolt VoIP monitor. It combines Thunderbolt 4 docking with a built-in 5MP camera and AI-powered features that can automatically frame users, recognise multiple meeting participants and adjust speaker volume based on distance.

Smart sensors can also adjust brightness, dim the screen when you leave and detect nearby observers for added privacy.
For creatives, the ThinkVision P27UL-40 is Lenovo’s first 27-inch UHD InkJet Printing OLED Thunderbolt docking monitor for commercial environments. It covers 99% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB, supports up to 120Hz and carries VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.

The ThinkVision T series is expanding too, with new 32-inch T32UD-4v and 34-inch ultrawide T34WD-4v models featuring USB-C docking, Microsoft Teams certification and Windows Hello support.
New Security Tools Target Lost Laptops and AI Risks
As businesses put more sensitive information into AI tools, Lenovo is also expanding its ThinkShield security portfolio.
ThinkShield TraceLock, powered by Absolute Security, allows IT teams to remotely locate, wake, lock or wipe supported ThinkPad laptops, even when devices are switched off or disconnected. It’s designed primarily for organisations managing laptops across distributed workforces.
There’s also Prompt Security, a SentinelOne company, which focuses specifically on generative AI. The platform gives businesses tools to monitor AI usage, protect sensitive information and establish governance around how employees use AI services.
For Malaysia, however, there’s still one important piece missing: the price tags.
Local pricing and availability for several of the newly announced products, including the ThinkCentre X Ultra, ThinkBook 14x Gen 2, ThinkVision P27UL-40 and P34WD-4v, as well as the new ThinkShield solutions, will be revealed at a later date.
Between a 1.6-litre AI workstation, a sub-1kg ThinkBook and a laptop screen that literally grows when you need more room, Lenovo’s latest business lineup suggests the AI PC era isn’t just about adding a chatbot. It’s also changing what the hardware itself can look like.
