Taking place on 16 September 2026, the Taste of Malaysia: Malaysia Day Buffet Lunch at Beast & Butterflies brings together regional favourites, Penang classics, nostalgic desserts and live cooking stations for an afternoon of eating your way around Malaysia.
From Negeri Sembilan to Penang, All on One Table
The buffet takes inspiration from dishes found across different Malaysian states, with highlights including Salai Beef from Negeri Sembilan, Stingray Sambal Pedas from Melaka, Curry Fish Head from Penang, Jackfruit Curry from Kedah, Lontong from Johor and Chicken Opor from Perlis.
Of course, you can’t have a Malaysian food celebration in Penang without a few local favourites.
Live stations will be serving freshly prepared Penang White Curry Mee, Seafood Char Kway Teow and Ban Chang Kueh, while the wider spread includes seafood on ice, Pasembor, salads and appetisers.
For dessert, expect familiar favourites such as Sago Gula Melaka, Tau Fu Fa and Ice Kacang, alongside more contemporary creations including Lychee Cheesecake and Mini Rambutan Tarts.
There’ll even be nostalgic Malaysian snacks to munch on, washed down with classics like Teh Tarik and Kopi Kampung.

The Malaysia Day buffet is priced at RM98 nett per adult, while senior citizens and children aged five to 12 dine for RM49 nett.
Groups can also take advantage of a Buy 3, Dine 4 promotion on the adult buffet, making it a particularly tempting option for a Malaysia Day get-together with family or friends.
MyMillennium members receive additional savings depending on their membership tier, ranging from 15% for Classic members to 25% for Prestige members.
