Lenovo is expanding its gaming portfolio in Malaysia with a new collection of LOQ Essential laptops, a LOQ gaming desktop and two Legion gaming monitors, targeting everyone from first-time PC gamers to more competitive players.
The latest lineup includes the Lenovo LOQ Essential 15IPH11, LOQ Essential 15IRH11, LOQ Tower 17IRH11, alongside the Legion 27Q-20 and Legion 27U-20 monitors.
New LOQ Laptops for First-Time Gamers
The LOQ Essential 15IPH11 is designed as an all-rounder for students balancing classes, entertainment and gaming. It features an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor with integrated Intel Arc graphics, using a unified memory architecture that dynamically allocates system memory between gaming, streaming and creative applications.
Intel Arc also brings hardware-accelerated ray tracing and XeSS AI-powered upscaling, while a dedicated NPU handles supported AI workloads. Despite its gaming capabilities, Lenovo claims up to 21 hours of battery life.
Its 15.3-inch 16:10 display can be configured with up to a 165Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB coverage, while the chassis is 10% lighter and slimmer than its predecessor. Thunderbolt 4, USB-C charging and upgradeable memory and storage are also included.
For those who prefer dedicated graphics, the LOQ Essential 15IRH11 pairs Intel Core 200 series processors with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU.
It carries over the 15.3-inch 16:10 display with up to 165Hz and 100% sRGB coverage, along with a lighter and slimmer chassis. Lenovo has also added transparent purple accent keys for a subtle gaming-inspired touch.
LOQ Tower Offers More Room to Upgrade
Desktop gamers are getting the LOQ Tower 17IRH11, which combines Intel Core 200 series processors with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPU.
The desktop supports up to 32GB of 5600MT/s DDR5 memory, PCIe Gen4 SSD storage and Wi-Fi 7. Its tool-less Easy Upgrade Access is designed to make future component upgrades more straightforward as users expand their setups.
Lenovo has also incorporated a concealed air-duct cooling design and selectable thermal modes to balance performance and noise under heavier workloads.
Two New Legion Monitors Focus on Speed
Completing the lineup are two 27-inch Lenovo PureSight Fast IPS gaming monitors
The Legion 27Q-20 features a QHD resolution with a 320Hz native refresh rate, 1ms GtG response time and 0.5ms MPRT. It also supports AMD FreeSync Premium, Adaptive Sync and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible technology.
For competitive players, its Focus View feature can reduce the active viewing area to 24.5 inches, recreating a screen size commonly used in tournament setups.
Meanwhile, the Legion 27U-20 takes a more flexible approach with Dual Mode functionality. Players can choose between UHD at 180Hz for higher-resolution gaming or switch to FHD at 360Hz when responsiveness is the priority.
Both monitors cover 99% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3, feature VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification and reach 400 nits of brightness. They also include adjustable stands, HDMI 2.1 FRL and DisplayPort 1.4 connectivity.
Lenovo is also extending its gaming presence beyond hardware as a Founding Partner of the Esports World Cup, with Legion products supporting players competing at the event.
For Malaysia, pricing and availability for all five newly announced products have yet to be confirmed.
