For Guinness fans looking for a properly poured pint, there are now 30 spots across Malaysia that have earned the brand’s stamp of approval.
Guinness Malaysia has unveiled the Top 30 Perfect Pint Bars from its nationwide Rate Your Pint campaign, recognising outlets that consistently deliver quality Guinness Draught based on both consumer ratings and Guinness’ own Perfect Pint quality assessments.
The campaign puts the spotlight on something that can easily be overlooked when ordering a draught beer: how well it is actually served. From the quality and freshness of the Guinness to the pouring technique and presentation, each element plays a part in delivering the ideal pint.
Rather than relying solely on assessments from the brand, Rate Your Pint also gave Guinness drinkers a say, allowing consumers to rate their experience at participating outlets across Malaysia.
The result is a list of 30 establishments spread across the country, giving Guinness drinkers plenty of options for their next night out.
Where to Find Malaysia’s Top Guinness Bars
The selected outlets span several regions across Malaysia, including Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, Penang, Perak, Johor, Sabah and Sarawak.
Among the recognised establishments in the north are 80s Bistro in Bukit Mertajam, Big Barrel in Butterworth, De Moose Cafe & Bar in Bukit Mertajam, as well as Haven H Bar & Restaurant, Rooftop Restaurant and Bar and Warehouse in Ipoh.
Johor also has several spots on the list, including Brew Garten Taman Daya and four La Primeur locations across Austin, Taman Gaya, Taman Molek and Tun Aminah.
Over in East Malaysia, Guinness drinkers can find recognised outlets including 19’C Bar & Bistro in Kota Kinabalu, alongside HOF Brighton Square and McGregor Old English Pub in Kuching.
