Disney has offered fans a glimpse into the future of its parks and experiences at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2026, revealing new attractions, expansions and reimagined favourites across its global destinations.
One of the weekend’s highlights was the Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, where Disney shared updates on projects including Tropical Americas, Monstropolis, a Cars-themed area and Villains Land at Walt Disney World, alongside a new Coco attraction and Avengers Campus expansion at Disneyland Resort.
International Disney destinations are also getting major additions, including a Lion King-themed area at Disneyland Paris, new Marvel experiences in Hong Kong and Shanghai, and a reimagined Space Mountain in Tokyo. Disney also confirmed plans to refresh Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park and completely reimagine EPCOT’s Journey Into Imagination, featuring Figment and the return of Dreamfinder.

Beyond the parks, Disney announced a new immersive Disney Princess Experience featuring worlds inspired by Rapunzel, Tiana, Belle, Moana and Ariel. Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends was also renewed for a seventh season, while fans received an early screening of LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian, which arrives on Disney+ on 2 September 2026.
D23 2026 also celebrated Disney’s films, series and characters through panels, immersive activations and fan experiences throughout the Anaheim Convention Center, before concluding with the Disney Legends Awards Ceremony.
