Samsung’s latest foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold8, has received a strong response in Malaysia, with pre-orders gaining momentum shortly after they opened.
According to Samsung, demand for the Galaxy Z Fold8 has exceeded that of the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, making it the most sought-after model in the brand’s latest foldable lineup. The company attributes the response to the Fold8’s slimmer design, refreshed form factor and updated user experience.
The high level of interest also resulted in a surge of traffic across Samsung’s online sales channels as customers rushed to place their orders.
With pre-orders continuing to grow, Samsung expects initial allocations of the Galaxy Z Fold8 to be snapped up quickly. Customers who pre-order will be prioritized for fulfillment as new stock becomes available, while those who purchase after launch may face longer waiting times depending on demand.
