Sunway Group, one of Southeast Asia’s leading conglomerates, won four awards at the 2023 Putra Brand Awards, including the coveted Putra Enterprising Brand of the Year Award for Sunway Education Group.
Sunway Education Group also won the Gold award in Learning & Education category, while both Sunway Lagoon and Sunway Property each took home the Silver award in the Entertainment and Property Development categories respectively.
These awards affirm Sunway’s efforts in cultivating a globally trusted brand through continuous product and services innovation, effective communication, and a strong demonstration of a genuine sense of corporate social responsibility.

The Putra Brand Awards received responses from over 11,000 respondents across Malaysia during an eight-week long survey period. Respondents were requested to select their preferred brands in 24 different product and services categories.
Launched in 2010 by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4A) in association with the Malaysia’s Most Valuable Brands (MMVB), the Putra Brand Award recognises brand building as an essential part of business investment, utilising a robust consumer methodology to determine the nation’s favourite brands within multiple categories.
Sunway bagged five awards, including the prestigious Putra Brand of the Year at the 2022 Putra Brand Awards.
