by ikalmayang

With hybrid work becoming the norm, have there ever been times when you’ve struggled to set up an online meeting and wished that it could be done effortlessly?

A report conducted by Jabra, leader in personal sound and office solutions found that 80% of meetings are either fully remote or hybrid. 37% of employees often feel left out of the conversation in hybrid meetings. These are some of the challenges that hybrid workers face as they continuously adapt to hybrid working arrangements.

As part of its PanaCast 50 solution portfolio for small to medium-sized meeting rooms, Jabra, a pioneer in personal sound and workplace solutions with more than 150 years of experience has officially unveiled the PanaCast 50 Video Bar System in Malaysia.

The Jabra PanaCast 50 Video Bar System is an integrated solution that includes an Android based compute unit, as well as state-of-the-art System-on-a-Chip (SoC), speakers, microphones, video camera, with network and display interfaces for prompt deployment.

The solution comes with a 10.1 inch touch controller to seamlessly manage the meeting experience with just a few taps prior to commencing an important discussion. The system natively and securely runs Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android or Zoom Rooms.

The complete portfolio delivers flexible deployment options to bring the best collaboration experience with either an integrated solution on Android, a modular on Windows through the PanaCast 50 Room Systems with Lenovo and Crestron or, you can even Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) solution to pair with the PanaCast 50.

The ultimate hybrid workplace meeting experience

The PanaCast 50 Video Bar System offers the same award-winning user experience as the two other solutions in the PanaCast Series.

The capacity of the PanaCast 50 Video Bar System that provides a 180° field-of-view through its Panoramic-4K multi-camera coverage in the room enables true-to-life representation of the attendees in the space.

In addition to having four powerful speakers in a zero-vibration stereo setup and a total of eight professional-grade microphones with voice detection and intelligent algorithms, it can also automatically identify and remove residual echoes and static noise. Meanwhile, remote participants may find its Intelligent Meeting Room Experiences, which include the Virtual Director, Intelligent Zoom, and Dynamic Composition, to be an engaging experience for attendees.

Ensure crisp audio is heard from whoever’s speaking in the best way possible with Jabra’s PanaCast 50 Video Bar System which includes eight professional-grade beamforming microphones, precision voice detection, and intelligent algorithms to remove interference such as echo and static.

The PanaCast 50 Video Bar System is designed to adapt to the evolving Unified communications (UC) experiences and hybrid workplace needs with its Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered software-defined platform.

Above all, it is easy to install, manage and use with everything needed for video meetings embedded in the PanaCast Control for a one-touch start and join without requiring any additional devices, allowing a simple, secure, and scalable deployment and management in any small-medium sized rooms.

Jabra’s Hybrid Ways of Working online survey that was conducted in 2022 comprised of sharings that were collected from a total of 2,800 knowledge workers across six countries concluded that belonging, motivation, productivity and mental well-being are all positively impacted by increasing employees’ ability to control where and when they do their work.

“Moving forward, leaders must find ways to maximize employee autonomy while addressing the social, health, and technological barriers to successfully navigating a hybrid working model based on increased employee freedom,” said Patrick Khor, Head of Sales, Singapore and Malaysia, at Jabra.

“The addition of the PanaCast 50 Video Bar System as a room solution to the Jabra PanaCast portfolio – with the already-delivered BYOD and room system solutions – can vastly enhance the hybrid meeting experience.
