If you’re someone who wears makeup on a daily basis, you might want to sit down and read this, because I’ve found one of the best cleansers to effectively get rid of any traces of makeup from my face.
The Hada Labo Hydrating Cleansing Oil is magic.
Well, it won’t grant you wishes, but it can certainly grant you plump skin – and get rid of all your nasty makeup residue after a very long day.
Feature:
What sold me was the fact that this cleansing oil has a very light texture. I have acne-prone and naturally oily skin, so it was important for me to find a cleanser that wouldn’t clog my pores. Thankfully, after a few weeks of using this, I hadn’t suffered any breakouts. The formula is light and emulsifies really well.
It has 4 types of essential oils, and not only do they smell divine and leave my skin feeling clean, but they have wonderful skincare benefits:
- Olive Oil: gently exfoliates, reduces appearance of dry skin or wrinkles
- Macadamia Oil: reduce itchiness and rashes
- Jojoba Oil: has anti-inflammatory properties that reduces redness and swelling.
- Rosehip Oil: Helps boost collagen formation.
Another thing I noticed was how plump my skin had gotten, and how moisturized it felt. This is because the cleansing oil has 2 types of hyaluronic acid: Super HA & Absorbent HA. These two function to allow moisture to retain longer in the skin even after cleansing, hence allowing the skin to feel soft and moist for long hours.
Effects:
The Hada Labo Cleansing Oil also leaves my skin feeling clean after washing my makeup. This is because it has an enhanced cleansing ability to remove impurities and stubborn make-up, including waterproof make-up and sunscreen! Ladies, let’s be honest – we love spider lashes but washing it off can be such a pain. Luckily though, this cleansing oil saves me from the headache.
Not only that, but with Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil present, it protects the skin against environmental pollution.
Verdict:
I have to say I’m surprised at how well this works on my skin. Having oily skin, I was advised against using oil cleansers, but I decided to give it a try anyway after doing some research. (Here’s an article we did a while back on what you need to know about cleansing oils!) I’m glad I did, because I find the Hada Labo Cleansing Oil to be very compatible for my skin – it doesn’t clog my pores, and has no added irritants. This means that it’s specifically formulated without preservatives, alcohol, fragrances, colorants or harsh mineral oil.
All in all, for RM58.90, I’d say it’s worth it. I’m pretty happy with this and hope to continue using it.
