Swift Go line launches with additional Swift laptops featuring all-new designs with 13th Gen Intel Core processors and Windows 11 

Following the array of launches Acer has successfully introduced for 2023, Acer debuts the first models in its new Acer Swift Go line. The new Acer Swift X 14 and Acer Swift 14 were launched with new modern designs, latest performance technologies and all the tools to help professionals, creators, students and all other users to stay productive and connected on the go. 

The Swift Go, Swift X 14 and Swift 14 models incorporate well-considered features such as angular edges and structural lines resulting in a more refined look for these notebooks, appealing to highly mobile customers seeking a more confident look and feel.

Acer Swift Go – Two New Thin, Light Models with Stunning OLED Display

The brand-new Swift Go 16 (SFG16-71) and Swift Go 14 (SFG14-71) combine the latest technologies and feature an OLED display with fast refresh rates. 


The Swift Go 16 features a 16-inch 3.2K OLED display with 3200×2000 resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, while the Swift Go 14 presents a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 2880×1800 resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. Long hours of work, learning, and playing are made easier thanks to the laptop displays’ TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe® display certification, productivity-optimized 16:10 ratio and touch-optional capabilities. The laptops’ backlit keyboards and OceanGlass™ touchpads further ensure a smooth and productive experience when scrolling.

  • Acer Boosts its Gaming Portfolio with New Predator Laptops and Monitors 

Acer announced two powerful Predator Helios gaming laptops and a pair of Predator gaming monitors. The laptops feature an all-new design with 16-inch and 18-inch display sizes, the latest 13th Gen Intel® Coremobile processors and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, making them Acer’s most powerful gaming laptops to date. The Predator X45 showcases a massive 800R curved monitor and has earned a CES Innovation Award in the “Computer Peripherals & Accessories” category. Along with the Predator X27U, both monitors include OLED technology with fast 240 Hz refresh rates. 

Predator Helios 16, Predator Helios 18 Laptops

The all-new Predator Helios 16 and Predator Helios 18 Windows 11 gaming laptops feature 13th Gen Intel® Core processors, NVIDIA® GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs and a plethora of must-have gaming features. 


The Predator Helios 16 offers a 16-inch (16:10) WQXGA (2560×1600) display at 165 Hz or 240 Hz or a Mini LED[] panel at 250 Hz, powered by AUO AmLED technology that supports over 1000 nits peak brightness with 1,000,000:1 high contrast ratio and 100% coverage of DCI-P3 color gamut for rich, vivid colors. The Predator Helios 18 sports a breathtaking 18-inch (16:10) display with the following options: WUXGA (1920×1200) at 165 Hz, WQXGA (2560×1600) at 165 Hz or 240 Hz, or AUO’s superfast 250 Hz Mini LED display that showcases three times more ambient contrast ratio than conventional displays and supports 1000 local dimming zones to provide total freedom of use even in poor lighting conditions.


The higher resolutions and fast refresh rates make images glide across the screens with minimal ghosting or tearing. The immersive 18-inch panel delivers portable gaming on a bigger scale and is ideal for multiple monitor setups, taking the action to a new level with stunning clarity and detail. 

Housing all this powerful tech is a new design for the Helios series, featuring a simplified matte black chassis with clean edges and thinner bezels. Several ports are located on the back of the laptop with a customizable RGB light bar that runs along the top of the back vents.


The new design is complemented by a mini-LED backlit keyboard with 1.8 mm key travel and anti-ghosting N-key rollover. The per-key RGB backlit keyboard has been redesigned to showcase bright uniform color (with less halo) and smooth dynamic lighting effects, requiring less power and helping expel heat efficiently with a specially designed backlight module. The new dedicated Mode key provides instant mode switching for improved gaming performance, while the PredatorSense key makes it easy to quickly open the app.

Users can also utilize PredatorSense to enable Predator Pulsar lighting for added customization on their keyboard’s per-key RGB backlighting. In addition, Acer’s gaming control center, PredatorSense, has been updated to version 4.0 and offers a more robust design that makes it easier to control system settings and monitoring, while the new Scenario Manager feature enables the creation of personal profiles for different gaming setups.

Players stay fully connected as the Predator laptops come with the Intel® Killer E2600 Ethernet Controller, Intel® KillerWi-Fi 6E AX1675 frequency band support for fast, seamless gameplay. 

The Predator Helios 16 and Predator Helios 18 laptops also include one month of Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass, providing access to hundreds of high-quality PC games.

Predator X45 & X27U Gaming Monitors

Acer’s newest Predator-branded gaming monitors, the Predator X45 and the Predator X27U, feature OLED displays and blazingly fast performance that will please even the most hardcore gamers. 


Both the Predator X45 and Predator X27U have very fast 240 Hz refresh rates and 0.01 ms pixel response time combined with AMD FreeSyncPremium technology to deliver incredibly smooth gameplay. They also have a KVM switch which allows for effortless switching between desktops and laptops without having to change the keyboard and mouse. In addition, a USB hub with USB Type-C is a convenient home for gadgets and other peripherals. 


  • Acer Expands ChromeOS Offering with Acer Chromebox CXI5 and Add-In-One 24 

Acer today expanded its ChromeOS product line with the new Acer Chromebox CXI5 and Chromebox Enterprise CXI5. It also announced the Acer Add-In-One 24, a modular all in one solution consisting of either the Acer Chromebox CXI5 or the Acer Chromebox Enterprise CXI5 and a 24-inch FHD docking monitor. Both solutions help businesses and commercial institutions streamline space and simplify maintenance, upgrades, and repairs, resulting in less downtime and long-term cost savings.


Acer Chromebox CXI5 and Acer Chromebox Enterprise CXI5 

Running ChromeOS, the new Acer Chromebox CXI5 delivers fast boot times, ease of use and robust security features. This Chromebox offers maximum flexibility in placement options due to its compact design. It can fit within space-constrained bullpen environments like call centers and coworking spaces and can be placed just about anywhere with its VESA mount kit. Outfitted with up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor[], it provides fast performance for everyday tasks, delivering up to 20% improvement over prior processor generations. Outfitted with the Chrome Enterprise Upgrade, the Acer Chromebox Enterprise CXI5 is designed to cater to companies’ IT demands and support the needs of the modern workforce. It unlocks a combination of fast deployment and simple management tools, built-in proactive security features, and access to a wide range of vital productivity apps. The smart device also comes with 24/7 IT admin support, enables IT to enforce hundreds of policies through the Google Admin console and conducts regular automatic security updates in the background to minimize interruptions and employee downtime. As an eco-friendly investment, the Acer Chromebox Enterprise CXI5 offers low power consumption modes and efficient charging capabilities. 

The Acer Chromebox CXI5 and Acer Chromebox Enterprise CXI5 connect to a wide array of peripherals with four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and two USB 4 Gen 3 Type-C ports, providing the newest and fastest USB technology that can transfer data at speeds of up to 40 Gpbs. Acer Add-In-One 24, an all in one desktop solution 

Acer’s new Add-In-One 24 features a modular design consisting of an Acer Chromebox CXI5 or a Chromebox Enterprise CXI5 that fits in the dock on the back of the 24-inch FHD 1080p monitor. This design enables the Acer Chromeboxes to be easily swapped for another to facilitate repairs and upgrades with minimal downtime for the user. 

Ideal for office workers and meetings, its 115-degree wide-angle 5 MP webcam, dual microphones and dual 4-watt speakers facilitate high-quality video conferences. Multiple AI noise reduction modes suppress background noise to deliver clear audio, even in the busiest of places. For added security, the webcam has a built-in camera shutter to help prevent unintentional image capture from hackers. 

The display leverages a premium IPS panel with narrow bezels to deliver accurate images at wide angles, helpful when collaborating with others in front of the computer or juggling multiple applications all at once. Its thin bezels maximize the viewable area to reduce scrolling, while the monitor can be titled between -5 to 25 degrees to suit the optimal and preferred viewing position. Optional touch functionality[1] contributes to smooth and effortless navigation, while the display also has an anti-glare coating to eliminate reflections so it can be used even in bright environments.
