Popular K-Pop group, BIGBANG will make a comeback soon after a six-year hiatus

BIGBANG has finished recording a new song, according to YG Entertainment. The quartet, which includes G-Dragon, T.O.P, Daesung, and Taeyang, will record a song video in the near future.


The announcement, which was released on Monday, shook VIPs, a euphemism for BIGBANG fans worldwide. BIGBANG’s most recent album, “MADE,” was released on February 3, 2016. The album MADE begins with the song “Bang Bang Bang.” “Bae Bae,” “Loser,” and “Last Dance” were all successes at the time.

BIGBANG’s break to serve in the military was commemorated with the release of the song “Flower Road” in 2018. The lyrics of the song “Flower Road” are plainly performed to entertain the audience. BIGBANG’s latest song will be heard by VIPs in the near future! Who is excited?


Simultaneously with the news of the comeback, T.O.P was actually announced to leave the agency. T.O.P’s contract with YG Entertainment, which also endorses BLACKPINK, was not renewed after 16 years.

T.O.P will also continue his career as an artist and entrepreneur within the umbrella of YG Entertainment. Regarding BIGBANG activities, T.O.P is said to have achieved an agreement with other members to continue participating by adjusting the schedule. Members of both YG Entertainment and BIGBANG honoured the choice of the star.


In addition to T.O.P, Seungri has left the YG Entertainment agency owing to a legal squabble. Seungri is charged with nine offences, including special economic crimes, breaches of the Food Sanitation Act, embezzlement, sexual crimes, gambling, violations of the Foreign Exchange Transactions Law, prostitution mediation, procurement of prostitution services, and incitement to special violence.

Seungri was fined around 1,156,900,000 won ($956,668.36) and sentenced to one year and six months in prison after submitting an appeal in January 2022.


This time, BIGBANG will have to lose one member in order to make a return. The reason for this is that Seungri has declared his retirement from the entertainment industry as of March 11, 2019. Seungri has begun his military duty on September 16, 2021, in addition to fulfilling his sentence.

The announcement that BIGBANG would return soon caused YG Entertainment’s stock to skyrocket on Monday. YG Entertainment’s stock was up 2.4 percent. BIGBANG is undeniably popular all around the world. BIGBANG was even the most influential celebrity in South Korea from 2009 to 2016. They were also the first Korean idol to be named on the Forbes Celebrity 100 and the 30 Under 30 list of the world’s most important musicians.
