EELS shares new track, ‘The Magic’ ✨
The Magic is the latest single off EELS upcoming fourteenth studio album ‘Extreme Witchcraft’ which is being released January 28, 2022. EELS leader Mark Oliver Everett, aka e, Co-produced the record with PJ Harvey producer and guitarist John Parish, marking the first time the two have recorded together since 2001’s ‘Souljacker’ album.
EELS says of the track, “The great John Sebastian once asked, ‘Do You Believe In Magic?’ The guy in this song clearly does. But those around him do not seem to.”
ORLANDO WEEKS shares new single ‘BIGGER’
Orlando Weeks today shares his new single ‘Bigger’; one of many standout singles from his highly anticipated sophomore solo album; ‘Hop Up’ out January 14th 2022.
Weeks notes, ‘’Bigger is the all stomping little brother to the head nod of Deep Down. Part of the song is about recognising that a person or people can be your world. And if that person or people is growing up right in front of you then in a very actual way their growth is your growth.’’
Ethan P. Flynn releases new single & video ‘The Universal Deluge’
Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ethan P. Flynn release his new single ‘The Universal Deluge’. Accompanied by a pensive new visual directed and shot by Aliyah Otchere. Ethan says of its creation, “The film of me walking was taken just after a sandstorm, I still feel like I have sand in my ears from that day”.
Last year the Yorkshire-born, London-based musician released his debut album B. Sides & Rarities Vol. 1 but the new single marks a significant shift for Flynn and is the by-product of an intensely fruitful creative few years for him. His unique songwriting craft, ear for production and versatility has already seen him work with a diverse host of familiar names including David Byrne, Vegyn, and Black Country, New Road. He also co-wrote several songs and performed on FKA twigs’ hugely acclaimed album Magdalene.
Slowthai, who Flynn has collaborated with and supported on tour, has said of him: “Ethan’s someone who I consider to be as great as Bowie, I’m just waiting for the world to see it… he’s a legend in the making.”
