According to Khairy Jamaluddin, the government would purchase Pfizer-BioNTech vaccinations for children in the country since the US Food and Drug Administration has approved the vaccine for children aged five to twelve.
Schools will be able to resume safely, according to Khairy, because 82.4 percent of the country’s teenagers were partially vaccinated and 62 percent were completely vaccinated.
The FDA’s vaccine advisory group authorised Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine for children aged five to eleven on October 26.
Pfizer claimed that their vaccination for children was successful in avoiding asymptomatic illness in more than 90% of cases.
