In Spencer, the make-up artist and costume designer truly gives Kristen a 100% complete makeover, from Diana’s iconic hairstyle to the selection of clothes. No joke, the resemblance is uncanny.
Physical change alone is not enough, Kristen also needs to practice to get Diana’s personality so that she plays the role perfectly. Facial expressions, eye contact, gait, body language, even Diana’s dialect.
Speaking with InStyle, Kristen Stewart explained how she struggled to get Diana’s dialect.
“The dialect is very unique because everyone knows the voice, it is very different and special. I am working on it and have my dialect coach.”
