Choco Munchies is bringing back their limited-edition Choco Berries flavour in October to commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to show their support for the National Breast Cancer Society of Malaysia.
Following consumer demand and the popularity of the Choco Berries flavour, the brand will package their famous chocolate coated cornflakes in pink, with a portion of the proceeds going to the National Cancer Society Malaysia to help them raise funds to continue their work for the country.
“We are delighted to bring back our Choco Berries flavour and package our item in pink to raise money for the National Cancer Society Malaysia and hope that we can create more awareness about breast cancer among women and men in Malaysia,” says Thariq Fadhli, CEO and Founder of Choco Munchies. “This campaign is extremely dear to our hearts since we have family members and friends who have suffered and passed away as a result of breast cancer.”
The campaign’s goal is to restart discussions about breast cancer awareness during COVID-19, since many people have put their screening on hold because so many facilities and resources are being utilised for Covid-19-related activities. Additionally, the campaign aims to help individuals feel more comfortable and confident while discussing the illness.
“We hope that the relaunching of our Choco Berries will help to contribute directly to the National Cancer Society efforts in increasing the awareness about breast cancer among Malaysians. With the help of Choco Munchies loyal customers, we are one step closer to a world without cancer,” added Thariq Fadhli.
