Since its introduction to Malaysia, FamilyMart has radically altered the landscape of convenience stores in the country. You can never go hungry with its many food options, including bento boxes, oden, and sandwiches, even if all you want is a light meal.
The only disadvantage of visiting a real store is that you will have to wait in line for a long time before being served, which is inconvenient.
However, times are changing, and FamilyMart has now introduced their very own vending machine – Malaysia’s first FamilyMart Mini. Rather than travelling to the store, you may simply stop by this gas station and get your FamilyMart dose.
These smart vending machines allow touch screen purchases and cashless payments. You can make payment via debit cards, credit and digital wallets.
Shell Karak Highway 2 is home to the first FamilyMart Mini. Those who reside near or past the highway should check it out. Also if you’re on the road, you can always stop and refuel with some Pocket Sando or Sandwiches.
This FamilyMart vending machine is currently the only one in the country, but the brand is planning to expand in the near future.
