If you’re looking for a gaming headphone that is small and lightweight then perhaps you’d like to check out this entry-level gaming one from Logitech G that fits within your budget.
The recently launched G335 is the first headphones that incorporate Logitech G Color Correction. Nowadays, we spend most of our time at home, and what better way to pass the time than by playing video games? So it stands to reason that you would want the best fitting headphones for you. With a slimmer design, the G335 is suited for individuals with smaller head sizes and enables greater communication.
Design 4/5
The Logitech G335 is one of the lightest gaming headphones on the market, weighing only 240 grams. With a slimmer design, it is specifically designed for young gamers and ladies as it comes with a smaller ear-cup size.
It features a reversible and adjustable headband suspension design that is washable. With a hidden slide mechanism, all you have to do is slide it up and down to make a perfect fit.
When it comes to comfiness, the soft breathable fabric certainly frains from any sort of discomfort especially if you’re going to be using it for long hours while gaming so we give that a +1.
Though the memory foam earpads are not removable, they still feel nice to the touch. As for the overall build, it is made out of plastic but quite durable.
If we did have a choice though, we would have gone for the Mint colour variant because it just seems a little bolder and vibrant. However, at the time of writing this review, that particular colour is not available in Malaysia.
So, Malaysian gamers who are thinking of getting this pair of headphones, you only get two colour options and that is either Black or White.
Features 4/5
Aside from the sleek design, the Logitech G335 features a flippable mic and a volume roller that is located under the left earcup. To adjust the volume, you would need to slide it to the bottom or top which is pretty easy for a complete game-class audio quality. The flip-to-mute microphone is also pretty cool.
Oh before we forget to mention, the G335 is also Discord Certified for clearer audio and communication clarity.
Performance 4/5
In terms of audio quality, we have to say it pretty much fits the price category and we are pretty satisfied with it and have not many complaints.
Using a 40 mm neodymium driver, at certain times the quality of the music might seem a little muddy for some gamers. It does sound crisp and good however at times you can’t help but realise the audio can be muffled up and it might seem to hold back the goodness of it which can be frustrating at times.
But since it falls on a more affordable range — it’s pretty suitable for entry-level gamers who are just getting the feel of things. The Logitech G335 is compatible with PC, Xbox®, PlayStation®, Nintendo SwitchTM and mobile devices with a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Value 5/5
Priced at RM269.00, those interested to get their hands on the Logitech G335 can purchase the headphones from all authorized resellers and Logitech G Official Stores at Shopee and Lazada.
Conclusion
The latest gaming headset with a sleek, beautiful and lightweight design is one you might want to keep an eye out for. If you’re not the fussy type and just started getting into the gaming world, then we’d say it’s worth it and you should try it out.
