The National Security Council (NSC) has now agreed to provide additional social and economic sector facilities to individuals who have obtained complete vaccinations for the states in Phase 1 of the National Recovery Plan (PPN).

Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, the caretaker Prime Minister, stated that it was critical to clarify that an individual would only be regarded as having completed their vaccinations if they have met the main criteria.

Those who have been vaccinated with two doses of injection for Pfizer, AstraZeneca, and Sinovac must ensure they have passed the 14th day from the date of the second dose’s administration.

It is recommended that the restaurant management team give extra dining area outside the premises for better ventilation. In confined places, the risk of spreading the Covid-19 virus is significantly higher.

Important: Owners of restaurants must guarantee that all diners produce a Covid-19 vaccination digital certificate proving that they have completed both doses of vaccination.

Couples who have gotten a complete vaccination and intend to bring children 17 years of age and younger to dine-in at the restaurant premises should ensure that their children abide by the strict SOPs.

Sports, recreational, and leisure activities that do not involve physical contact and do not take place in groups (outdoors) are also permitted, but only within the same district.

3

This activity is permitted by adhering to social distance and is done in open spaces (outside), including semi-open areas, between the hours of 6 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Dine-in activities in restaurants or cafes on the clubhouse premises are permitted in accordance with the dine-in permission. The owners should ensure that the patrons are fully vaccinated and make them show their digital certificates upon entering.

4

The operation of a dressing room or a bathroom on the clubhouse grounds is still prohibited. This is done to reduce the risk of infection and to avoid grouping up after sports.

Permitted activities are jogging, exercise, taichi, cycling, skateboarding, fishing, equestrian, archery, climbing, tennis (singles), badminton (singles), golf and those similar.

6

Permitted activities also include picnics and camping. Participation of children aged 17 and under is allowed with strict adherence to SOPs.
