Malaysian Mental Health Association
One of the most pressing challenges in improving mental health in Malaysia is the scarcity of mental health workers. According to a World Health Organization study from 2014, Malaysia has just one psychiatrist and one psychologist for every 100,000 inhabitants.
Each trainee session will be supervised by qualified clinical psychologists and would cost RM50. You can also donate since the organisation is looking for RM50,000 to fund volunteer basic mental health training programmes.
