Upon which the customer replied, “I don’t like to buy anything from Indian. That’s why I want to know. If got any Indian in your company.”

Thirty One Fine Bakes chastised the customer for their racist statements and pledged not to serve them again after hearing their answer.

The opinion that you have shared is racist and we simply have no tolerance for that. Racism and discrimination are deep-rooted diseases of this country, and we work to ensure there is no space for that in this company and to call it out when we see it.

“…because of your disgusting remarks, we are not sorry to say that we would be happy to lose you as a customer. All the best.”

Although everyone in the comment section has requested for them to expose the customer’s identity, Thirty One Fine Bakes chose to keep the identity of the customer anonymous but said the purpose of sharing it was to speak out against such hate

Despite the fact that everyone in the comment section requested them to reveal the customer’s identity, Thirty One Fine Bakes opted to keep the customer’s identity private, stating that the point of revealing it was to speak out against such hatred.

It’s 2021 guys, it’s about time to put an end to these racist statements as we’re all the same and in this together. What happened to being a solid nation living in peace?
