Now that we’re all working from home again, there might be times where we would like to up our lunch meals a bit. IKEA Malaysia has made things so much easier for us to finally place a takeaway order from their popular in-house restaurant.
All you have to do is place your orders via WhatsApp and collect it from the main exit door.
You will no longer be queuing with a large group of individuals.
First things first, here are the contact numbers that are designated for each area:
Damansara (10am – 7.30pm) : +6017-2357261
Cheras (10am – 8pm): +6016-9731649
Tebrau (10am – 7.30pm): +6016-2391283
Batu Kawan (12pm – 9pm): +6016-2210028
Simply click on the number and it will direct you straight to the Order and Collect page on WhatsApp.
From there, you can go to their catalogue menu that is located on the top right corner to choose your dishes.
With over 20 items to choose from, including desserts, it might be overwhelming, especially because most of us haven’t had these IKEA meals since the pandemic started.
After adding your meals to the cart, IKEA’s customer representative will send you the confirmation and voilà, your order will be prepared.
We estimate at least 30 minutes for it to be prepped, then you can just drive down to the IKEA outlet and collect it from the main exit.
To be more precise, here’s the exact location:
– Damansara: Bistro, Level G
– Cheras: IKEA Bistro Kiosk, Level B1
– Tebrau: Grab and Go Kiosk, P1 parking
– Batu Kawan: Taxi stand/Bistro Kiosk, P2 parking
In terms of payment, you can choose to either pay via cash or card over at the outlets, during pick-up.
However, for the Tebrau outlet, only cash payments are accepted.
