1. Pronounced elegance
The S90 Recharge T8 is very similar to the XC90 in that it possesses Volvo Cars’ rich legacy through the distinct elegance of Volvo’s design language. This combination of sleek design and stylistic influences provides a luxury appearance that is emphasized by Volvo’s core aesthetic features, such as the “Thor Hammer” LED headlight design, vertical chrome grille with the Volvo Iron Mark, and bold and elegant use of the Volvo spread mark on the rear.
2. Sporty tail lamps
As for the tail lamps on the Volvo S90 Recharge T8, it also has been redesigned to resemble those of the newly introduced Volvo S60 T8 R-Design, combining the premium image with a touch of sportiness.
3. An amazing interior
To further enhance its overall appearance and feel of the car, Volvo incorporated a Scandinavian theme into the cabin of the car. The addition of vertical air blades on each side of the Sensus user interface as well as perforated front seats and sunroof certainly raises the bar on elegant aesthetics.
4. Impeccable entertainment system
The Volvo S90 Recharge T8 Sensus panel keeps the driver linked with intuitive technology and personalized functionality, with two front USB outlets that support both Apple Carplay and Android Auto for varied connectivity.
Then there’s also the 9-inch portrait touch screen that provides the driver much convenient access to a complete range of safety measures as well as in-car entertainment applications for an immersive media and audio experience.
Featuring an upgraded Bowers & Wilkins sound system, it is said to consist of 19 speakers with an output of 1,400W to provide true high-end, in-car audio performance. The signature Tweeter-on-Top speaker is seamlessly integrated into the design contours of the S90 Recharge T8 and sits just above the dashboard.
There are also several speaker updates, such as the new double-dome aluminium tweeters and the new generation mid-range speaker cones in Continuum™ composite, resulting in a more refined, pure and natural sound production.
Combined with the unique feature of different room modes such as the Concert Hall Mode, which is modelled after the exact acoustic qualities of the famous Gothenburg Concert Hall, and also a Jazz Club Mode, drivers and passengers will be instantly transported to the seats of a Swedish theatre or a classy jazz club.
5. Exemplary safety features
Additionally, the S90 Recharge T8 also comes with a variety of standard Volvo safety features, starting with a chassis made out of boron steel for added body strength.
