Asia’s leading ‘buy now, pay later’ platform, Atome has launched its services in Malaysia with more than 100 online and offline merchants participating on the platform. The company’s entry into the local market and its rapid growth have featured various leading brands such as Agoda, ezbuy, Eu Yan Sang and Hush Puppies adopting ‘buy now, pay later’ or ‘buy now, pay later’ (BNPL) services as payment options. for their customers.

Customers in Malaysia can now shop and make payments using Atome for their merchant partners by scanning the QR code in the store or selecting Atome as the payment option on the website. Payment using Atome allows customers to split their bill into three interest -free payments over a period of time, without any admin or service costs. Trasy Lou Walsh, General Manager of Atome Singapore and Malaysia said that Atome services not only changed the way customers shop and make payments but also helped local retailers and merchants in Malaysia to recover their sales volumes from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and Movement Control Order (MCO). ).
