If you’re a huge fan of FamilyMart, then we know that you would like this news. Joining Starbucks, McDonald’s, KFC and more — this Japanese convenience store is making things easier for its patrons but featuring an all-new drive-thru system. You no longer have to step out of the car and grab your items anymore. And it couldn’t have come at a perfect time, given that we’re all going through the vicious COVID-19 pandemic.
The announcement was made yesterday on FamilyMart Malaysia’s Facebook page.
Revealing its location, the first drive-thru will be operating in Berkeley Uptown, Klang. Though it’s worth noting that the store is still in the pilot stage but it is already open for the public to experience the new outlet.
Like every drive-thru, there are a plethora of food options to choose from; all you have to do is place your order and wait for the staff members to prepare it for you. On that note, we’d like to remind you that only selected items will be available, so you might have to get down of your care in case your favourite isn’t on the drive-thru menu.
Aside from that, FamilyMart is giving away free sofuto ice cream to all April babies so make sure you head on over to your nearest FamilyMart store which will be open from 7 am to 11.30 pm, daily.
