Craftiviti, a homegrown one-stop-shop for DIY personal care and therapeutic craft materials that have been supplying raw ingredients for the making of DIY soaps, skincare formulas, and candles, has launched Yein&Young, a line of safe and minimalist skincare products aimed at making the skincare routine simple and fuss-free.
The Yein&Young range comes with a shortlist of ingredients that warrants that it is free from harmful chemicals in their products. One of the top sellers from the range would be the Organic Liquid Castile Soap, Organic Lotion and the pure essential oils that are sourced from all over the world.
Aside from that, the brand will be launching their very own Yein&Young Organic Shampoo and Organic Conditioner so do stay tuned for that.
It is ensured that these products are made from a luxurious blend of non-GMO ingredients and certified organic premium oils and butter such as virgin argan oil, virgin coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil and shea butter, the products are also free from various harmful chemicals such as colourants, fragrances, and parabens, among others. Do note that these products are also not tested on animals, vegan and gluten and cruelty-free.
Yein also shared with us that the Organic Lotion has been lab-tested to be hypoallergenic, dermatologically and clinically tested to be mild and gentle and is proven safe for sensitive skin.
The fact that all of the products are unscented makes individuals that have sensitive skin or skin conditions like eczema, rashes or psoriasis feel comfortable and safe to use. One thing that most people aren’t familiar with is that when it comes to fragrant products, it could actually trigger sensitivity and other negative skin reactions to most people.
“Scent is a feel-good ingredient but it has no added benefits to the skin unless that scent is naturally derived from natural plant oils. Often, scents are made from synthetic chemicals. While we may enjoy the aroma, our skin and our environment can do without it, which is why all Yein&Young products come unscented,” says Leong Wei Yein, a Certified Cosmetic Chemist with a Certificate in Organic Formulations who founded Craftiviti in 2013.
Yein&Young is also packed in glass bottles to reduce the use of plastics in their packaging and to ensure zero chemical leaching while being friendlier on the environment.
