In case you have missed out on one of the best news we have ever heard this year so far, the Genting Highlands Outdoor Theme Park is finally happening and will be able to experience it by the second quarter of the year. With that said, Genting SkyWorlds is on the hunt for talented singers, musicians, dancers, actors and character performers to be part of the “Adventure Makers” team.
If you have the passion to share your talent with the nation and do it as one of the Genting SkyWorlds crew, we reckon this is your chance to shine. Those interested to be part of the team are invited to attend a special dance workshop and audition talk which will feature career advice and a showcase of various dance genres in the theme park.
It is certainly the perfect avenue to pick up valuable tips and tricks of the trade while gaining a deeper insight into the wonderful world of live entertainment at the resort.
As Southeast Asia’s most anticipated theme park, there are lots of riding here for the brand and personally, as someone who has spent the majority of her childhood at Genting Highlands — I can’t help but have super high expectations when they finally launch the new park.
The workshops and audition that was mentioned earlier will take place in March/April. A little more details when it comes to the dance workshop is where they will showcasing various dance styles such as Jazz, Broadway, Funk, Latin, Samba and Hip Hop. All of it will be led by the Park Wide Choreographer.
To apply, you just have to register via email and book a spot for yourself since the spots are quite limited. Make sure to include the city and session in the title, ie: ‘KL-Dance Workshop”.

- Those intending to audition are not required to attend this workshop.
- Please come in appropriate dance attire and bring character, jazz shoes or dance sneakers
- Please bring knee pads.
- Participants must be at least 18 years of age.
- This workshop will follow strict SOPs to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
- Registration on the day begins 1 hour before the allocated slot. Please be on time to guarantee your entry.
Apart from the dance workshop, the Audition Talk is where you would join the Creative and Casting team where they will be in charge when it comes to questions and insights of the soon to be opened international theme park.
