mxmtoon – dusk (the edits)

mxmtoon’s dawn & dusk dual EP project explored the complexities and emotional duality of the human experience. Further delving into these themes, mxmtoon unveils “dusk – the edits”, which features a delicate acoustic reimagining of dusk standout “bon iver”, a dreamy piano rework by popular streamer & artist LilyPichu and previously unreleased demos.

COIN – Sagittarius Superstar

Alt-pop trio COIN unveils their new single “Sagittarius Superstar” featuring Faye Webster. The track is the group’s newest offering from their ‘Rainbow MixTape’. The dreamy song floats with warmth, ease, and enchantment as the captivating duet between COIN’s Chase Lawrence and Faye Webster vacillates between tender love and heart-aching repudiation.

Alfie Templeman – Everybody’s Gonna Love Somebody

18-year-old rising star Alfie Templeman has shared his brand new single “Everybody’s Gonna Love Somebody”, and has announced details of his new mini-album, Forever Isn’t Long Enough’—out on May 7th via Chess Club Records. The track is his first single since riotous bop “Forever Isn’t Long Enough” arrived back in September 2020—Templeman has since been included in an amazing run of 2021 tips lists, including the BBC Sound Of 2021, MTV, Amazon Music, Vevo, The Official Charts UK, Wonderland Magazine, and more.

Interpol – Mind Over Time (Bonus Track)

Interpol has released “Mind Over Time”, which is a bonus track from their third album, ‘Our Love To Admire’. The slow-building track, which was previously only available on the Japanese CD edition of the album, is famous among fans for it use of a voicemail, comes packed with powerful lyrics like, “Street of thought/ In all your bones/ Hold Your place/ And save your thrown.” Back in 2012, Interpol’s Paul Banks took to Twitter to explain that the voicemail recording on the track was a, “Real phone message left me by a very solid dude. R.I.P.”

The Antlers – Just One Sec

The Antlers have shared a new track called “Just One Sec”, which will appear on the New York duo’s long-awaited sixth album ‘Green To Gold’—arriving on March 26th via Transgressive. Following 2014’s ‘Familiars’, the project has previously been previewed with ‘Solstice’, ‘It Is The single “is about the difficulty of escaping your reputation with someone you’ve closely known for a long time”, according to lead singer and songwriter Peter Silberman.

Smith & Burrows – Only Smith & Burrows Is Good Enough

Smith & Burrows, which is the musical partnership of Editors frontman and multi-instrumentalist Tom Smith and the similarity multi-faceted musician and songwriter Andy Burrows, have released their second full-length album ‘Only Smith & Burrows Is Good Enough’. The album is a collaborative writing experience and the pair share vocal duties across its tracks from propulsive power-pop of “All The Best Moves”, the calypso-tinged virtuosity of “Buccaneer Rum Jum”, or the engaging traces of OMD amidst “Bottle Tops”.

Ex:Re – Ex:Re with 12 Ensemble

Elena Tonra of Daughter resumes her Ex:Re moniker to present a reinterpretation of her debut solo album. ‘Ex:Re with 12 Ensemble’, released digitally only, is a collaboration between Tonra, classical composer Josephine Stephensonand one of the UK’s leading string orchestras, 12 Ensemble. It was recorded by Fabian Prynn during performances at Kings Place (the multi-arts venue in London’s King’s Cross neighbourhood) last November, where Tonra was joined onstage by Stephenson on piano and the 12-piece string orchestra.

Lost Horizons – Heart of a Hummingbird (feat. KookieLou)

“Heart of a Hummingbird” is the new single from Simon Raymonde (Cocteau Twins) and Richie Thomas (Jesus & Mary Chain Dif Juz), collectively known as Lost Horizons. The track features collaborations from Lily Wolter from the critically acclaimed band Penelope Isles under her pseudonym KookieLou.
