vivo Malaysia organises ”Chap Goh Meh” Photo Contest this HUAT COW COW Chinese New Year festival, to celebrate the upcoming 15th day of Lunar New Year – “Chap Goh Meh” or Lantern Festival is also known as the Chinese Valentine’s Day, starting from 26 February until 28 February.
“Chap Goh Meh” is celebrated with much joy and festivity that include activities such as lighting sky lantern, guessing riddles, eating tangyuan (glutinous rice ball) and more. In Malaysia, single ladies would write their name and contact details on mandarin oranges and toss them into the river during Chap Goh Meh, hoping to find true love.
This year, Chap Goh Meh will be celebrated differently with the movement control order (MCO) in place. While vivo Malaysia is organising a “Chap Goh Meh” Photo Contest, to encourage couples to share their lovely moments regardless of where they are, hoping everyone to stay healthy and happy during this pandemic times.
The three most creative lucky winners will be selected to win exciting prizes as below：
First prize: Money bouquet worth RM 400
Second prize: Money bouquet worth RM 250
Third prize: Money bouquet worth RM 150
Couples or marries couples are eligible to participate in the “Chap Goh Meh” Photo Contest, by following simple steps as below:
Step 1: Participants upload and share their couple photo along with the mandarin oranges to the Facebook post‘s comment section. (For example, a creative photo of a couple exchanging mandarin oranges）
Step 2: Tag another pair of couple/married couples, and comment on how long you and your partner have been dating together.
