This newly opened restaurant at Bangsar is a great place to have a taste of Italy

When you plan on visiting Roberto’s, your resident foodie suggests that you do go with an empty stomach. Whipping up relatively big portions that are certainly made for sharing, this is one spot in Bangsar you would want to visit if you are craving for authentic Italian cuisine.

Roberto’s is not just a restaurant that serves Italian food, it is the place where guests are able to enjoy the underrepresents Tuscan and Emilian dishes that are meticulously curated and was inspired by Roberto Guiati’s and head Chef, Cristian Grandi’s personal taste.

Executed exceptionally well and plated to please the senses, I have to say that their pizza and pasta is just out of this world. One of the best things about Roberto’s is how the restaurant comes with an Alfa Forni wood and gas-fired pizza oven that was brought in specially from Italy. On that same note, this model, a hallmark of Italian craftmanship, turns out to be the only one in Malaysia.

Besides their fantastic dishes, this newly launched restaurant also offers a good selection of wine, not just from Tuscany but from all over the world like France, New Zealand, Australia and more.

As for their wide selection of cocktails crafted by their talented in-house mixologists, guests can enjoy traditional Italian cocktails as well as fusion ones that are inspired by local ingredients.

Perfect for those who prefer a more private or a more alfresco dining setting, Roberto’s has it all. In terms of interior, it boasts a stylish modern design which incorporates signature Tuscan elements.

As for their Christmas special, they have come up with Christmas pizzas that are available till the end of the year. What I like the most about it is that a simple pizza with pizza sauce and cheese is highly pleasant to the taste buds. The crusts aren’t like those thick, puffy ones and it has the right balance of flavours that aren’t too overpowering for the palate.

Simple, fresh and perfect is how I’d describe most of the dishes at Roberto’s.
