Similar to its predecessor, the Limited Edition Sunplay Skin Aqua Tone Up UV Essence (Alice in Wonderland) comes in a cute pink to blue gradient shade. The only difference is that the new limited edition packaging showcases an illustration of Alice with Cheshire Cat at the back.

This colour correcting sunscreen comes with a lavender tint that is meant to correct the yellow, dull areas of the face. It has a very light and silky texture that is suitable for all skin type and has an almost undetectable floral scent.
It feels light on the skin however it does leave a dewy finish so if you have oily skin, best skip this one out or not apply any makeup afterwards.

The sunscreen makes your skin hydrated to the touch and has an almost cooling sensation which is quite nice ’cause Malaysia is always sunny outside. In my opinion, the consistency is too thin for it to colour correct any dull areas on my face but it does make my skin tone slightly brighter. Though it’s worth noting that it does leave a slight cast on the face.

Besides the fact that the sunscreen works to cancel out yellow undertones, the Skin Aqua Tone Up UV Essence does have an SPF of 50. It protects the skin against both ageing UVA rays and burning UVB rays. On top of that, it also contains a classic humectant which is the Hyaluronic Acid as well as Vitamin C to help keep the skin hydrated and fresh all day.

Verdict
This beauty sunscreen does protect your skin from harmful UV rays and it’s also water and sweat resistant. So if you’re out and about and got soaked in the rain, going for a swim or even hitting the gym, be sure that the sunscreen will still work.
