If you didn’t know, OldTown White Coffee is known as Malaysia’s largest halal-certified kopitiam chain that is popular for its iconic white coffee. With many outlets scattered around Peninsula Malaysia, the local brand will be entering a new Territorial License Agreement alongside OTK Eatery for expansion in East Malaysia.
To this day, there are at least four outlets of OldTown White Coffee in Sabah that are doing quite well. In terms of ending the year with a bang, OTK Eatery has plans for a new store opening by the fourth quarter of this year which marks it the fifth outlet in Sabah.
It is known that the market for the F&B industry in East Malaysia is quite promising and with that, the outlets in these states will not just serve the brand’s iconic white coffee but they’ll also offer signature dishes that are popular in East Malaysia.
That said, the brand celebrates its 15th anniversary this year and in conjunction with this milestone, it launched the Kopi Dulu Makan Dulu campaign early this year. Some of the exciting initiatives include an all-new menu revamp in June 2020, featuring a Build-Your-Own Nasi Lemak range and more exciting beverages.
The partnership was officiated in a signing ceremony at OldTown’s One City, USJ outlet in Subang Jaya attended by D’Silva, Phan, Liew, and OTKE Chairman Dato’ Seri Maslan bin Sani.
