Gather your friends and prepare to say ‘How you doin’?
It’s been so long since Friends ended but that didn’t stop the fans from rewatching it over and over again, because it is that good. If you are a huge fan of the show and is in dire need to know how does Phoebe’s grandmother’s cookies taste like, then you are certainly in for a treat.
The Friends: The Official Cookbook is set to be published this coming September featuring over 70 iconic recipes that are truly inspired by the hit sitcom. Written by Amanda Yee, this hardback cookbook is 176 pages long with recipes that are catered specially for chefs of all levels. So it doesn’t matter if you are not a seasoned chef like Monica Geller, you would still be able to execute these dishes easily.
It’s a trifle. It’s got all of these layers. First, there’s a layer of ladyfingers, then a layer of jam, then custard, which I made from scratch. Raspberries, more ladyfingers. Then beef sautéed with peas and onions. Then more custard and then bananas and then I just put some whipped cream on top. – Rachel Green
Like a wine pairing session, each recipe from the book is expertly paired with an episode of the show. Just imagine yourself eating Rachel Green’s famous English Trifle whilst watching The One Where Ross Got High or enjoying a good sandwich like the Moist Maker from The One With Ross’ Sandwich.
Friends: The Official Cookbook will be released on September 22, 2020, and is available for preorder via Amazon.
