Although it comes with six variants ranging from Super Hyaluronic Acid, Japanese Green Tea Extract, Resveratrol, Amazon White Clay, Thermal Spring Water and Jojoba Beads, these facial washes don’t come with any irritating scents. Besides fragrance-free, when it comes to texture, the Hada Labo Face Wash has a nice thick creamy texture that cleanses the skin thoroughly.

The texture of this Japanese face wash is a white thick cream that cleanses your skin gently. Turning into a very thick and fluffy foam after lathering with just one dollop certainly makes a little go a long way. It also feels nice and gentle like a thick cushion placed on the skin.

To start off, the Amazon White Clay range is good for oily and acne-prone skin as the clay helps remove excess dirt and oil to prevent clogged pore. This Deep Clean & Blemish Control face wash also contains Hyaluronic Acid that keeps the skin moisturised and supple after cleansing whereas the Wild Pansy Extract has natural Salicylic Acid that prevents blemishes and fights blackheads.

The Softening & Exfoliating face wash comprises the biodegradable Jojoba Beads along with Salvia Sclarea Extract to help remove the dirt and grime from the skin’s surface. While on the contrary, the Super Hyaluronic Acid keeps the skin hydrated and supple. The difference between Hyaluronic Acid and Super Hyaluronic Acid is that it has double the moisture retention capacity of regular Hyaluronic Acid that has a longer-lasting moisturising effect.

For normal or dry skin types, try the Hydra & Whitening face wash which contains Super Hyaluronic Acid. Just like the previous face wash, it provides moisture to the skin keeping it smooth and supple. This face wash range also comes with the Brown Algae Extract and Resveratrol that provides firmness, radiance and long-lasting moisture to the skin.

Together with the Japanese Green Tea Extract to help control and remove excess oil, the Deep Clean & Pore Refining face wash is made for those with oily and combination skin. The oil-absorbing Bentonite Clay keeps excess oil and enlarged pores under control. Unlike the other two face washes, this one only comes with Hyaluronic Acid which plays the same role — hydrating the skin.

Then there is the Softening & Whitening face wash that has Resveratrol to brighten up dull skins which are suitable for all skin types. As for the Sesame Seed Extract, it doesn’t just soften the skin but it also helps remove dead skin cells. This face wash also contains Hyaluronic Acid.

Lastly, for normal and sensitive skin, the Mild & Sensitive face wash consisting of French Thermal Spring Water protects the skin from irritation with a mineral-rich protective barrier. To help prevent dryness, it also contains Hyaluronic Acid as for the Soap-Free Formula, this extra-gentle cleanser removes dirt and impurities without stripping the skin off its essential moisture instantly.

The Hada Labo Face Wash range isn’t just reasonable for the price. However what makes it better is that it is free of alcohol, paraben, fragrances, any colourant and mineral oils. On another note though, only try out the right face wash for your skin type to get an effective result.
