Shell and Touch N Go have collaborated by giving away 10,000 units of RFID tags for free from now until 31st March 2020. But before you do that, there are a few things you should take note of:

To redeem the offer of getting a free RFID tag from Shell, all you got to do is spend more than RM50. But only at participating Shell outlets below:

Payment method
It is still in works but the goal here is to allow motorists to pay for gas with the RFID system. All users would need to do is to top-up their RFID tag via their TnG e-wallet app. From there payment can be done with an overhead scanner and the amount of money will be deducted.
Promotion period
The offer to get the free RFID tag is only available from 15th February 2020 to 31st March 2020. Well, there are only 10,000 tags available but in case you missed the deal, you will still be able to purchase the tags at all Touch n Go Fitment Centres for only RM35.
Hopefully, with the RFID, there will no more hassle at the toll booths and also making payment for gas would be simpler.
