As the second installation in the Eternal Love universe, Eternal Love of Dream has piqued the interest of many TV series fans ever since it was slated for production. Reprising their roles as Fengjiu and Donghua are Dilraba Dilmurat and Gao Weiguang, and this second series casts the spotlight upon the love story between their characters. The story’s plot feeds the viewers’ desire to see the budding romance bloom between the two characters and many are excited to watch Dilraba Dilmurat and Gao Weiguang in action as the perfect fit.
Not just that, the series also depicts the courageous acts performed by the women in the series to pursue love. The production of the series proved to be of herculean effort in perfectly and tastefully portraying the ardent love between Fengjiu and Donghua that spans across three reincarnations. The production and art department spent eight months building almost a hundred sets, with the sets taking up a total surface area of more than 40,000 square metres. The series is further brought to life with the help of the wardrobe department in designing and styling almost 2,000 time-relevant costumes for the actors and actresses. From the magnificent palaces and the stunning landscapes to the whirling snow and the beautiful flowers, various settings such as Tai Chen Palace, Qing Qiu, Fan Yin Valley and Aranya’s Dream that only used to exist in the viewers’ imagination were perfectly brought to life with realistic CGI.
With an impassioned bond that spans across three generations and protagonists who are tremendously devoted to the loves of their lives, viewers are certainly in for a magically romantic treat.
