When it comes to food, it’s a sinful gastronomic adventure. Just like the saying, forbidden fruits taste the sweetest — you will be absolutely captivated with what Forebidden has to offer. From a mix of modern building to authentic Asian interior design, Forebidden is definitely the place for you to take the risk to place your taste bud in.

Forebidden’s sinful dishes

RouKuChaUntitled design (5)If you are someone who can’t live a day without consuming any meat, Forebidden has some main treats for you to indulge in. A crowd favourite would be their pork belly dish. Braised to perfection, the meat is incredibly tender as it is cooked in a rich herbal-infused broth. The dish is accompanied with dried cuttlefish, chillies, onions, ladyfingers and steamed rice that would make you go for seconds. For a more textured dish, patrons can opt for the pan-fried version.

Their dishes are solely inspired by modern Malaysian Chinese cooking so as much as soy sauce is a crucial condiment, the Chinese wine is too. And for this version, it gives the perfect balance of both.

Rings & Heavenly Kings

One for picky eaters, Forebidden has foreseen your yearning and has made the call. Another forbidden dish the eatery offers is the Rings and Heavenly Kings. This seafood delight is one for the books as it is stir-fried with their homemade chilli paste that is heavenly. Greatly seasoned and packed with incredible flavours, this is the kind of food to share with your family and friends.

Aesthetically pleasing to the eye

Bonus point: the presentation of their dishes is incredibly Masterchef worthy as well which ticks off another box from the checklist.

Juicy Ruby is an aromatic, sweet cocktail from Forebidden’s naughty menu. Visually pleasing, this sweet dessert drink is a mix of gin, pandan syrup and coconut syrup with a hint of zesty dragonfruit.
