At the heart of the Timberland brand is a core belief that a greener future is a better future. That’s why Timberland has planted more than 10 million trees around the world, given the equivalent of more than 345 million plastic bottles new life in its products, and set a goal for 100% of its products to include at least one major component comprised of recycled, organic or renewable materials by 2020. It also led to the development of the new Brooklyn Reboot Collection for fall 2019.
Inspired by Timberland Global Creative Director Christopher Raeburn’s REMADE philosophy, the Brooklyn Reboot collection is made using ReBOTLTM fabric (made from recycled PET) in the upper and 34% recycled rubber in the outsole. It’s the perfect intersection of style, performance, and responsibility.
The Brooklyn Leather and Fabric Chukka feature an upper made with nylon fabric and leather from a silver-rated tannery, earning high marks from the Leather Working Group for best environmental
practices. The Chukka’s understated geometric design, which also boasts the high rebound cushioning of the AeroCoreTM Energy System, is available in Dark Green Ripstop, Black Ripstop, and Medium Grey Ripstop.
Two additional silhouettes — the Leather and Fabric Oxford and the Lace Oxford — both incorporate Defender Repellent Systems® treatment on the upper to resist water-based spills and stains to stay
looking newer, longer. Also equipped with the lightweight AeroCoreTM Energy System, these models offer unparalleled comfort and flexibility.
Built from the ground up to reflect Timberland’s environmental ethos, the Brooklyn Reboot collection lets you take the first step to become a hero of nature.
