When it comes a particular set of skills for the work industry, things can be pretty competitive. Many are searching for the right skill set in order for them to be accepted in a company or be useful to the entire human generation. The world’s largest professional network, LinkedIn has been helping employees securing the right fit of a job for many years now. Recently, they launched the Future of Skills 2019 Report, which identifies the top 10 rising skills of LinkedIn members in the region over the last 5 years. To identify the skills by what is in demand now by companies, LinkedIn members listed the highest month-on-month growth. As part of the report, LinkedIn also conducted a deep dive into employees readiness to tackle the future workforce and how learning and development professionals are responding to the skills transformation.

As traditional industries adopt new technology and ride the wave of digital transformation to improve operations and introduce new products and services, it is unsurprising that the top rising skills in APAC are dominated by technology-related skills.

These rising skills can be used as a signpost for organisations to determine how the industry is innovating and transforming, and help their employees cope with the pace of change through upskilling.

Here are the Top 10 Rising Skills 

Artificial Intelligence (AI)
In the early AI research in the 1950s, it explored topics like problem-solving and symbolic method. Present day, it’s usage surpasses more than just a machine. AI adapts through progressive learning algorithms, analyzes more and deeper data as well as it acheives incredible accuracy through deep neural networks.
