A charming boutique hotel featuring Traditional Malaysian influences, Temple Tree Resort is among those hotels in Langkawi that you visit when you want a quiet spot, removed from the hustle bustle of a typical tourist spot.

When visiting Langkawi, you’ll feel right at home at Temple Tree Resort, which offers quality accommodation and great service. Located 10 minutes from Langkawi Airport and 5 minutes from the excitement of the city, this 4-star resort commands an excellent location and provides access to the city’s biggest attractions.

The rich history and tradition of the resort become amply clear once you choose to explore its elegantly furnished rooms and public areas. This what really sets the Temple Tree Resort apart from most of the hotels in Langkawi.

Temple Tree Resort is home to antique buildings of Chinese, Malay, Indian and Eurasian origin, and make up this 8 villa hotel. All are tastefully furnished and many even provide such comforts as television LCD/plasma screen, desk, balcony/terrace, telephone, fan.

During my stay, I experienced much more than a holiday and discovered the quintessence of Langkawi. The natural richness of the landscape, the history of the place and the rich culture allow me to bask in a wealth of experiences whilst enjoying the refinement and comfort of high-end establishments.

A powerhouse of rich culture & heritage: Delve into Malaysia’s rich culture and history

Mahatma Gandhi once said, “A nation’s culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people.” Temple Tree Resort is a gorgeous 4-star boutique hotel that takes pride in Malaysia’s heritage, which you’ll see on display in every corner and detail.

Guests live fully each second of their stay, to take the time to appreciate the subtle pleasures of Langkawi, to immerse in each of these precious moments. So that, in turn, they can enrich, tell and spread the history of the Malaysian rich culture.

A Continental breakfast, delivered to rooms in a basket the night before, includes yoghurt, home-made cake and bread.

Built by a Chinese family in Batu Pahat, Chinese 1 has been relocated to Langkawi. The decoration is simply opulent. It has its own bar room and authentic wooden bathtub.

Every room has been impeccably designed with its own look and feel, each one inspired by various elements of Malaysia’s history and culture, such as the Chinese 1, featuring a stunning original Chinese farmhouse which was built approximately 100 years ago.

Temple Tree Resort is committed to ensuring that your stay is as comfortable as possible.
