Much like how the Lexus Golf Invitational has evolved over the years from a platform to build camaraderie to an opportunity to showcase golfing skills and true competitive spirit, the Lexus brand itself too has transformed and is constantly raising the bar of excellence, offering uncompromised product quality and unrivalled customer service experience.

This year, Lexus hosted the 12th edition of its prestigious Golf Invitational and was
honoured to host proud Lexus owners in a 3-part tournament that did not only challenged skills but also treated guests with distinctly first-class Lexus hospitality.

After three individual engaging rounds at Palm Garden Golf Club, Tropicana Golf & Country Resort and Kota Permai Golf and Country Club, the Lexus Golf Invitational 2018 culminated in a riveting gameplay where Mr Teo Loong Chua and Ms June Yap emerged as the respective champions of the Palm Garden and Tropicana tournaments. Both walked home with trophies, caddy bags, premium drivers and a 3D2N Golf Tour to Bangkok. Prizes from the Kota Permai round were presented as lucky draw giveaways as the tournament was interrupted mid-way with bad weather.

The Lexus Golf Invitational 2018 too gave tribute to the good game of golf as the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) golfers Michelle Koh and Michele Low were invited to host an exclusive golf clinic for amateurs. The clinic turned up a notch when each participant was given the opportunity to see how they fare when playing a hole against the experts at the “Beat The Pro Challenge”.

The prize presentation ceremony that followed was a memorable end to the tournaments. Local band The Muse, serenaded guests during the buffet dinner, but the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the crowning of the individual tournament champions where victors proudly claimed their prizes.

“We are delighted with the relationships we built through our annual Lexus Golf
Invitational but we are more proud to see returning players up their game year after year as we are confident that it is the competitive spirit that drives us to progress. At Lexus, we truly believe that we are the master driver in all that we do and we compete healthily to offer our best vehicles and services for our discerning drivers. Congratulations to all our deserving winners!” said Mr Ravindran K, President of Lexus Malaysia.

The spirit of golf demonstrates the very concept of sportsmanship, which reflects the soul of Lexus where it is driven to challenge itself but never forgetting its guiding principles and the spirit of omotenashi in all its dealings.
