We believe that colours can transform entire communities and influence how we perceive the world around us. To that end, we would like to take this opportunity to renew our commitment to continue inspiring people with colours.
“This collaboration with Nala Designs is a sensible one because they are passionate about creating Malaysian-inspired artwork which is vibrant and eye-catching, but more importantly capable of inspiring individuals. This is a parallel to what Dulux advocates. In addition, this collaboration is a platform for us to deliver on our promise of producing and delivering consistently accurate coloured paints and coating to offer their customers a dependable application experience.
Nala Designs began as a stationery brand in 2009, before becoming the fashion boutique and merchandising name it is today. With artwork and motifs inspired by Malaysian heritage, Nala Designs adds life to furniture, and walls via murals, even floors with hand-painted designs.
Scheers said: Colours play an important role in out daily lives, and it is a great way to make use of colours to paint, regardless of the canvas. However, painting is somewhat underappreciated today, because many think of it as time-consuming and frankly inconsequential. To change this mindset, we have collaborated with Dulux to showcase the power of colours through the painting of walls whereby not only is this the most impactful way, but it is also the most affordable. It’s impactful in the sense that colours can change the way the space you live in looks like, especially when you begin playing around with textures. The colour of your walls can also affect your mood!
