Dry Skin No More With These 5 Home Remedy

by Natasha Christopher

Ahhhh dry skin. What’s there to love about it? It’s flaky, unattractive and some even to the extent of rashes and leaves a scar or red spots. I remember growing up, my legs normally would get dry very fast and me being a careless person, never seem to bother about it. Until one day, my brother made a comment on my legs and said: “you have a snake looking leg.” To be fair, he was right. It was getting to the point where it’s so dry, some of my dry skin can be peeled off and plus, it was painful too! Yeap, that’s how bad it was. After realizing I needed to take care of myself, I then started applying lots and lots of lotion on my leg and soon, I finally have that beautiful, long legs that I am known for.

1.Milk

Milk is great and soothing for the skin. It has anti-inflammatory and relaxing properties that greatly help get rid of the dry and itchy skin. Plus, the lactic acid in milk exfoliates dead skin cells and increases the skin’s ability to retain moisture. Another method you can do is to add few drops of rose water to four tablespoons of milk. Rub this solution on the affected area and leave it for 10 minutes. Importantly, after that, wash your body with cold water. Best to follow this remedy twice daily.

One of the reasons why I have gotten dry skin was also my lack of drinking water. Of course, it doesn’t promise an end to a beautiful skin but it sure could help accelerate the process better.
