Samsung Flips Brings Workplace Collaboration To New Heights

by Nicolas See Tho

The modern office is a scene of chaos more often than not, and with computers being buried under post-it notes, and tables filled with documents, one can easily feel disorganised as well as lost under the chaos. Thus, Samsung has brought forth a revolutionary new tool for collaborated workspaces as well as being the ultimate replacement for the age-old meeting tool, the whiteboard.

Introducing the Samsung Flip, a digital flipchart that transforms the modern meeting place with a more interactive and collaborative digital engagement, whereby your notes can be organised and meetings can be made more productive without any interruptions from a messy whiteboard. This reduces the challenges faced when organising, allowing you to facilitate and recap meeting notes, which is in line with Samsung’s paperless dream for “Workplace of The Future”, which believes that workplaces should be an ecosystem that nurtures high productivity and creativity results.

“In today’s’ day and age, many companies are embracing open-plan office environments where meetings are more likely to occur spontaneously rather than in meeting rooms. With this in mind, we are introducing the Samsung Flip to take digital collaboration to a new level with superior mobility and usability features that foster a creative, collaboratove and productive business environment. Endless workplace possibilities will now be at the tip of your fingers, anytime and anywhere, and we look forward to continuing helping businesses work smarter and more efficiently”, said Yoonsoo Kim, President, Samsung Malaysia Electronics.

The Samsung Flip allows up to 4 participants to introduce new ideas and content on the board and annotate directly on the screen at the same time using either their fingers or a dual-sided pen. In doing so, users can differentiate their contributions via writing style, size and colour, with each motion being displayed through the 55-inch UHD display.

The Samsung Flip Display also offers extensive device compatibility through PC, mobile ports and wireless connectivity and USB ports. It also offers an integrated screen-sharing functionality making the Flip content available on connected devices, without reduced interruption or reduced visual quality.

The Samsung Flip display provides unprecedented collaboration space all in one sleek design as participants do not need a specialised touch pen to interact with the screen, and can erase notes through a quick palm swipe. Flip users can access up to 20 pages of writing space with embedded search functionality which allows participants to instantly find content instantly.

davEach Flip display can be orientated either in portrait or landscape mode to suit the unique meeting needs and when coupled with its height adjustable stand, it maximises the available writing space at the users preferred positions. If a roundtable discussion is preferred, participants can opt for a wall mount.

The Samsung Flip is now available in Malaysia at a recommended retail price of RM12,999. To find out more about the Samsung Flip, check it out here.
